A note to entrepreneurs and small business owners:
Thanks for stopping by and way to go! At some point you decided to take the leap and start a business. That alone deserves a moment of celebration. You are my people— the passionate, scrappy, determined entrepreneurs. More than likely you are trying to do it all, and I want to take (at least a little) of the load off.
I have a passion for helping small businesses discover who they are and who they want to reach. I love a good story and I love to inspire others to uncover their own. Through brand photography, social strategy, and content creation, I help small business owners understand their brand identity and their messaging, while providing professional images and content for their brand.
My main goal: allow you to spend more time doing what you love and less time worrying about what to post and what to say!

Rachel McPherson, Owner/Lead Photographer, Rae McPherson Creative
Rachel has worked in the marketing and branding world for over 15 years. In 2017, she began offering lifestyle and personal brand photography to small business owners. From there, her business has expanded to also include social media strategy and content creation. If you want to get her talking (which isn’t hard), just ask her about the Enneagram or the latest book she read.
Jen Halla, Product Photographer/Associate Photographer
Jen is an associate shooter and specializes in product photography at Rae McPherson Creative. With over 10 years experience as a wedding and portrait photographer at Jennifer Halla Photography, she has a keen eye for details and creating cohesive, clean and elevated product images. She loves plants and hopes to age like Paul Rudd.
Jill Paz, Video/Content Creator
Jill is a seasoned content creator and social media manager. She brings stories to life through creating compelling content. At Rae McPherson Creative, she captures all video and UGC content. When not immersed in the digital world, Jill enjoys exploring museums, sketching, and playing fetch with her dog.
Becky McGehean, Session Liason
Becky helps keep everything on track, from contracts, to inquiries, to invoices. With a background as a program director and years of experience in office administration, she is the organizational backbone of Rae McPherson Creative. If you have noticed inquiries being answered in a more timely manner and deposit invoices going out on time, it’s because of her.
Emma Tolman, Copywriter
Emma has a background in all things marketing and copywriting and helps the Rae McPherson Creative team with blogs, caption copy and more. When she’s not busy writing, Emma loves traveling around New England with her family, hoping one day to find the perfect apple cider donut.
